A unique underground tour of a real coal mine.

All visitors must be at least 1 metre tall.

Site open daily between 9.30am and 5.00pm From March to the end of November.

Underground tours begin at 10am and run at regular intervals. Last tour begins at 3.30pm.

You should allow at least 2 1/2 hours on site for a comprehensive visit.

Free car and coach parking

Wheelchairs can be taken underground but please
ring for more information.
