Three
miles across the calm waters of Caldey Sound lies the monastery
and its little sister, the bird and sea sanctuary of St.Margaret's.
Monks of one sort or another have lived and worked on Caldey for
some 1500 years.

Are allowed on the island, but must be kept on a lead at
all times.
Caldey
is a private island owned by the Reformed Cistercian Community.
Visitors are asked to respect the privacy of the monastery
enclosure. Boat owners are reminded that landing at Caldey
from craft other than those in the Caldey Pool requires
permission of the Abbot.
If you are unable to visit the island you are assured of
a warm welcome at the Caldey Shop on Quay Hill, Tenby, which
stocks the full range of quality Caldey products.
